Today is the first edition of my new blog. I'm very excited about it. I've been blogging some on myspace.com, but I wanted an "official" blog of my own to explore my sewing/crafting, creations, ideas, and perhaps even some of my writing. I've been sewing since I was a child, though I stopped for a while, mostly out of having no room or time to pursue it. I worked for three years as an English and Drama teacher, though I am happily a stay-at-home mom now and loving it! I have three adorable children, my nearly four-year-old daughter, and one-year-old identical twin boys. So, as you can imagine, life can get interesting and hectic at times. LOL Still, though, I try to make time for my crafting, and I have just opened my new etsy shop, though I have nothing listed currently---something is wrong with my computer and will not let me upload the pics. (Groan---the joys of modern technology! LOL) Anyway, I hope to have some things for my shop very soon and will update it here on my blog when I do.
Mostly, I just want to do this for myself, to have some sort of record of what costructive things I've done. LOL Sometimes, it's just so easy to get sucked into the day to day that I start to feel like I've accomplished nothing, save dishes and laundry. It will also keep me honest, pushing me to get off the computer or out from behind the tv and get some stuff done when I do have a few moment to myself. LOL
Anyway, I'm looking very forward to this new journey, and I can't wait to see where it leads me.
